Advisers to Presidential applicants discuss health care proposals during online debate Advisers to the two major presidential candidates during an online debate on the Wall Street Journal Web site discussed the effect that their health care proposals would have on the employer-sponsored medical health insurance market, the Journal's Health Blog page reports.'In the real world there are many other factors - - such as [food] availability, disposition and peer pressure - - that influence what and just how much we consume,' said business lead researcher Jane Ogden, a professor of health psychology in the University of Surrey, in England. 'But,' she added, 'the results out of this study indicate that for dieters, eating on the go may well result in them overeating upon in the day later.' Why would that be? According to Ogden, it may be a mental effect: Individuals who eat on the run may not be fully alert to what they're consuming, or they may feel like they 'deserve' more food later on because they are being active.
